Introduction:

Your class will be learning about the Industrial Revolution. Since, we just entered the new century, your help is needed to preserve information on our historical inventions that the world so dearly treasures! You will preserve this information in the form of a brochure. Dows Lane students will use the brochures as a source of information for many years to come. Your hard work is needed to create a wonderful resource packet!

Task:

You and your partner will research one of the inventions listed below and produce a colorful brochure featuring that invention. In order for you to take a closer look at all the brochures created in computer class, these will be featured in the front lobby display case during the month of June.

Please take the time to look these over these finished products, as you will be voting on which one of these inventions you feel would be given the title the Invention of the Millennium..

Getting Started:

Along with your teacher in your classroom, you will choose an invention to research using this **Webquest on Inventions. Each invention has links that will provide you with all the information you need to complete your brochure. You will create a brochure in computer class using the software program *Microsoft Word.*** The research part of the project can also be done in your classroom/the library/& your home if you have Internet access.
